What would it take to dethrown the dynasty of the SPHL? That has been the question asked in the SPHL circles for the last 4 seasons. Well, it took great organizational stability, a rebuilding process that started slowly but progressively became the strongest overall franchise in the SPHL. During this growing stage the Gators became strong with young talent, and veteran leadership. The Gators also had to put together not one but two seasons of being the best team in the SPHL over the last two seasons to put together a team strong enough to yank the torch from the hands of the Wolves players. Now the Gators are perhaps the next team of the SPHL. They are very strong and have all the tools to put together more championships. One dynysty has died, but perhaps another is born. Time will only tell, but for now the Gators can take heed in the satisfaction of being the only team in the last 5 seasons to beat the Wolves, and win the Siegal Cup. For that they are a team that distinguishes itself above all their competition. Congratulations to Nick Lemiuex and the Gators.
