Season 5 - Toronto Arctic WolvesSea. Record Playoff Record General Manager --------------------------------------------- 68-15-1 12-5-0 Mark Bylok The returning champs made only a few changes to their lineup for season 5. They added some strength of the left-wing, trading away last season's play-off MVP Mats Naslund, and took off for a record breaking season. They never lost more then two games in a row, and in fact, only lost 15 games in an 84 game season. With 68 wins they surpassed all other records with 137 points for the season, and an .815 winning percentage. Mike Sillinger and Brian Bradley finished on top of the league with 121 and 120 points, passing Messier's previous record for most points in a season. The 464 goals forward shattered any record before it, and with only 265 goals agains, they still managed to have one of the best defensive squad. Mark Bylok promised he would sweep every game in the play-offs, but lost the bet in the first round. The only challenge the Wolves faced in the play-offs came from the Enforcers. After easily surpassing the Orcas, The Enforcers took the lead in the semi-finals 3 to 1. Roy has been the number one goalie all season, but Wregget also had a great season. Would Mark Bylok make the goalie change? He's always been critical of other GMs that used two goalies in the play-offs, but this time he called for the goalie change in the 5th game of the series. Ken Wregget went on to win 7 out of the next 8 games, beating the Enforcers, and downing the Buzzards in five games. The Toronto Arctic Wolves went on to win their second straight Siegal Cup. Ken Wregget received the play-off MVP award. Names On The CupToronto Arctic Wolves GM: Mark Bylok ===================== Forward Defence Goaltending ------- ------- ----------- B. Bradley E.
