Season 2Champion: Indianapolis GunnersSea. Record Playoff Record General Manager ------------ -------------- --------------- 46-23-11 12-4-0 Scott Vyner In the first season Scott Vyner had the best players in the league, such as LeClair and Lindros, but he found the strategy to be ineffective. Instead, Scott Vyner traded those players away for the lesser known stars that never made an impact in the league individually, but together they created one of the best teams in the league. Team leaders like Yashin and Carson never made the leaders board, but there was so much quality no single star was needed. Some said he bought the Siegal Cup through purchasing free agents, but really those free agents had little to do with the Gunners success. With Patrick Roy in net this team was unstoppable. They finished only 3 points behind the top team, the Chiefs, and had the best defense in the league. The only team to challenge them in the play-offs was their 4th place divisional rival, the Wolves. That series went to 7 games. The former champs, the Frost, were swept in the semi-finals, and the Snipers amounted to one win in Ottawa. The Gunners never lost at home during the play-offs. After collecting this aging super-star team, Scott Vyner quit from GMing to persue other goals.
