The SHL was started by one big draft, so obviously the top dogs in this season drafted the best teams. If you go by points, Chris Werner drafted the third best team, finishing only a point behind Ravens, and 8 points behind the top team, the WildCats. But the play-offs are the true challenge to any GM, and the Frost were relatively unchallenged.
Even the mighty WildCats fell to the Frost in 5 games, and the Ravens only managed to take the series to 6. Dale Hunter proved to be the star of these play-offs, getting the MVP honour, by getting 26 points in 17 games, a +11, and an incredible 25% scoring percentage
